Young Horse Training Program (4 months)
Begin your development journey in EquiTrust Oy's horse training program. Our comprehensive 4-month training program is designed to build the horse's trust in humans, help the horse internalize the basic aids of riding, and develop your horse's natural abilities.
Training Plan:
Trust and basic skills
The first month focuses on building trust between the horse and trainer. The horse learns basic commands and gets used to regular handling.
Routines and clear aids
The second month deepens learned skills and develops the horse's understanding of clear aids. Regular routines create a sense of security.
Strength and coordination
The third month focuses on developing the horse's physical fitness and coordination. Exercises become more diverse and the level of difficulty increases.
Reinforcing basics and cooperation between horse and owner
The final month reinforces learned skills and prepares the horse for cooperation with its owner.

I am Jan Liesendahl and I serve as your horse trainer and guide in the multifaceted, evolving world of equestrian sports. My roots extend from the landscapes of Germany's European Horse Center to Finland, where each training session is filled with a lifelong passion for riding.
I have worked with over a thousand horses, developing a deep understanding of the balance between trust and respect with horses. For me, training means more; it's about nurturing and supporting the potential of young horses so they can find their confidence.

We are proud of our collaboration with Sammaliston Talli.
The stable is located with good transport connections in Riihimäki, only 4.5 km from the Helsinki-Tampere highway. Sammalisto is easily accessible from both south and north.
Sammaliston Talli has five stable buildings and a total of 82 stalls, which provide spacious and comfortable accommodation for horses participating in the training program. The stable has a large indoor arena, 22 x 110 meters, and a horse walker, which ensure optimal training conditions year-round.
Sammaliston Talli serves both competitive riders and recreational riders, offering professional instructors and trainers.

1 hour individual training
Individual training session: About one hour of riding or ground training according to your horse's needs
Suitable for young horses: Especially intended for horses that already know the basics of riding
Mobile service: We come to your stable - price includes 50km travel
Additional charge for long distances: Over 50km distances €0.50 per additional kilometer
Standard Training Package
(including 25.5% VAT)
13 hour package — about €49 per hour
Regular activity: Your horse gets regular training during the week, which includes the use of a horse walker, lunging and riding
Health and nutrition monitoring: Continuous health monitoring and individual feeding support your horse's well-being and training development
Weekly progress updates: You get detailed weekly reports and photos via WhatsApp to stay up to date with your horse's development
Final report: A summary report given at the end of training that describes your horse's skills and general advice for the future
Premium Full-Training Package
(including 25.5% VAT)
20 hour package — about €44 per hour
Daily training: Customized training program that includes horse walker exercises, lunging and riding sessions taking into account your horse's discipline orientation
Health and nutrition monitoring: Continuous health monitoring and individual feeding support your horse's well-being and training development
Daily progress updates: You get detailed daily reports and photos and videos via WhatsApp to stay up to date with your horse's development
Customized horse guide: A comprehensive guide tailored to your horse's needs, containing information about the special characteristics of your horse's training, effective aids, tips on different procedures and personal recommendations for future training and care
The main difference in our service packages is the number of training sessions per week
You can choose the appropriate number of training sessions according to your horse's needs and your own preferences. These basic services provide peace of mind, as you know your horse is in reliable hands in good facilities.
